Vermont Restaurant Week to Benefit the Vermont Foodbank (April 25-May 4)

Vermont Federal is excited to be the presenting sponsor of Vermont Restaurant Week for the fifth straight year!  We continue to sponsor this weeklong event year after year in an effort to not only support the Vermont Foodbank, to which a portion of the proceeds will benefit, but also to support local businesses and food purveyors.  Vermont Restaurant Week will bring additional recognition to local establishments as well as drive more customers through their doors. With over 100 participating restaurants in 2014, there is sure to be something on the menu that everyone will love.

Don't Tax My Credit Union

Credit unions, including Vermont Federal, are in danger of losing their tax-exempt status. A tax on credit unions is really a tax on members which will have a negative impact on the products and services we offer to you.
These politicians believe that by taxing credit unions, the federal budget can be balanced. As credit unions only hold 6% of all financial assets nationwide, and banks possess the other 93%, this initiative would only serve to harm credit unions. Find out what you can do to help by visiting Don't Tax My Credit Union.
