Who is eligible?
Students enrolled at least half-time in a degree-granting program, with a qualified co-signer. If you are not already a member of Vermont Federal, you must become a member.

How much can I borrow?
Once approved, students can borrow from $1,000 up to $30,000 per year based on the cost of attendance. The aggregate maximum (total amount you can borrow throughout your college career) is $50,000.

Do you require a co-signer?
No, but having a co-signer is highly recommended as it may improve your chances of meeting approval criteria, and help you qualify for a lower rate.

How quickly will I receive my loan?
Funds can often be disbursed within 7 business days of your loan approval.

Who will approve, fund and service your loan?
Your loan application will be approved, funded and serviced by Vermont Federal's partner, Credit Union Student Choice (CUSC). Vermont Federal will be available to assist you with post-funding issues or with other products and services that meet your needs.
