February 15, 2024 -

South Burlington, VT - Vermont Federal Credit Union has been recognized as a 2024 Best Place to Work in Vermont, demonstrating its commitment to creating an exceptional work environment. This prestigious honor, awarded by Vermont Business Magazine, highlights the Credit Union's unwavering dedication to fostering a workplace culture where its employees can thrive both personally and professionally.

To determine the Best Places to Work in Vermont, businesses from all corners of the state engaged in a comprehensive two-part evaluation hosted by Workforce Research Group. The initial phase involved an assessment of each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics, accounting for approximately 20% of the overall evaluation. The subsequent phase encompassed an anonymous employee survey, which carried a weightage of approximately 80% in the final assessment. The combination of these scores ultimately determined the leading companies and their respective rankings.

"Our employees are the true secret to our Credit Union's success! Their unwavering dedication to supporting their friends, neighbors, and local communities is what truly makes our Credit Union an extraordinary place to work," said Maribeth Spellman, Chief People Officer and General Counsel at Vermont Federal Credit Union.
