EMPLOYEE WELLNESS

Vermont Federal Credit Union not only wants our employees to work here, but we also want them to thrive here. We offer employees the opportunity to work on their skills and explore their passions. We provide a robust program for staff to gain new skills or job shadow various positions to learn what they enjoy most.

Vermont Federal strongly advocates for a healthier workforce, exhibited by seven consecutive years of receiving the Vermont Worksite Wellness Award. These programs include wellness challenges, onsite chiropractic and massage, nutrition classes, CSAs and farm shares, discounted gym memberships, onsite biometric screenings and flu shots, CPR and first aid training, and local Employee Assistance Programs.

HEART OF THE CREDIT UNION AWARD

The Heart of the Credit Union is a quarterly recognition award highlighting and celebrating employees who go “above and beyond” and whose actions exemplify the mission and values of our credit union.

We often hear stories of employees who went above and beyond to help a member in distress, resolve a significant issue, or support a coworker in need. Each quarter we nominate one employee with a heartfelt story to receive this prestigious award!
