Our Commitment to Accessibility

At Vermont Federal, we believe that financial services should be accessible to everyone. Our mission is to make a decided difference in the lives of our members, and we are constantly working to improve our website in order to accommodate those with disabilities and visual impairments. We actively test and develop our website to ensure we are working to meet the needs of all of our members.

Our Goal:

Vermont Federal aims to adhere to the website best practices and standards set forth by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).


Vermont Federal employs the UserWay website accessibility widget that helps improve our compliance with WCAG and provides limited customizable visual control over the site by an individual user. The vermontfederal.org accessibility menu can be enabled by clicking the accessibility menu icon that appears on the bottom right corner of the page.

Our Approach:

While we are continually evaluating our website to ensure accessibility standards are met, there may be some content that has not yet been updated in accordance with the WCAG. We continue to work to identify and enact the best solutions to ensure access to our website by everyone.
