Annual Feed Your Neighbor Event

While the holidays are a joyous time for many of us, it can also be a time of great difficulty for those who may be without basic needs. With this in mind, we are glad to partner with 106.7 WIZN and 99.9 The Buzz as the presenting sponsor of Feed Your Neighbor. We invite you to join us at Costco Wholesale in Colchester on Wednesday, November 26th between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. as we broadcast live and collect cash and food donations for the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf. Non-perishable food items that are most requested include peanut butter, canned tuna, canned veggies, canned fruit, dry pasta, tomato sauce, rice, concentrated juice and cereal. Baby food, formula and diapers are also encouraged. We hope to see you there!

Don't Tax My Credit Union

Credit unions, including Vermont Federal, are in danger of losing their tax-exempt status. A tax on credit unions is really a tax on members which will have a negative impact on the products and services we offer to you.
These politicians believe that by taxing credit unions, the federal budget can be balanced. As credit unions only hold 6% of all financial assets nationwide, and banks possess the other 93%, this initiative would only serve to harm credit unions. Find out what you can do to help by visiting Don't Tax My Credit Union.
