Douglas Fisher

Douglas Fisher - Chair

Douglas served on the Vermont Federal Credit Union Supervisory Committee from 1993 until his election to the Board of Directors in 2002. He is currently the Finance Director for the Town of Essex, responsible for the oversight and maintenance of accounting records for the Town, the development and management of financial systems, the preparation and implementation of the annual budget and the development and implementation of data processing systems for the town.

Lisa Rees

Lisa Rees - Vice Chair

Lisa Rees currently works for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) as the Chief of the Document Services Division in Williston, VT. Lisa has worked for USCIS since 1987 which was also when she joined Vermont Federal Credit Union. During her career with USCIS she created automated systems to improve efficiencies, led the 2009 financial audit at USCIS headquarters and implemented a number of operational changes resulting in a significant cost savings. In 2008, Lisa was named USCIS manager of the year in recognition of her excellence in leadership.

Megan Manahan Bliss

Megan Manahan Bliss - Secretary

Megan resides and works in St. Albans. Megan started out her career at the former Brown Cahill, Gawne & Miller, P.C. in 2001 as law clerk and in 2003 as an attorney and is now a shareholder in Cahill, Gawne, Miller & Manahan, P.C.. Megan received her B.S. from the University of Vermont in 1999 and her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2003.

Joe Finnigan

Joseph Finnigan - Treasurer

Joseph was elected to the Board of Directors and as Treasurer of Vermont Federal Credit Union in 1978. He served as President/CEO for more than 30 years, retiring in March 2009. He serves on the Board Executive Committee and on the Board of Trustees of the Credit Union Legislative Action Council (CULAC). He has also served on the Board of Directors of TriCorp Federal Credit Union and the New England Credit Union Heritage Foundation.

Tina Plante

Francis Broughton - Director

Frank was born and raised in Cornwall where he and his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann, continue to reside. Frank is the owner and operator of Broughton's Farm Supply in Bridport, a wholesale distributor of farm supplies that he established in 1963. Through a network of independent franchised dealers, products were distributed throughout Vermont, New York and New Hampshire.

Tina Plante

Suzanne Lynn - Director

Suzanne is the co-publisher and general manager of The St. Albans Messenger, a daily newspaper serving Franklin County. She carries the same titles and responsibilities for the Milton Independent, the Colchester Sun and the Essex Reporter, newspapers serving those communities. Her responsibilities include: budgeting, administration, P&L performance, staff planning and leadership, sales, marketing, circulation, collections and key account responsibilities. 

Tina Plante

Curran "Spike" Robinson - Director

Spike retired as Vice Wing Commander of the Vermont Air National Guard in 1998, after serving more than 35 years in uniform. Twenty-nine of those years were in a full-time capacity where he held various positions including; weapons system officer, comptroller, deputy commander for resources, and support personnel manager for the Vermont Army and Air National Guard.
