These enhance security by creating Time-based One-time Passwords (TOTP) that are both unique to the current time and to the specific user device. They are not dependent on specific countries, so our members traveling out of the country will be able to utilize this security step. Enrollment is not required. To activate, log into online banking, go to My Settings and click “By authenticator” that is listed as a new security option. Once enabled and saved, scan the QR code or enter the code into the authenticator app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. That’s it!
