Burlington, VT – Vermont Federal Credit Union has once again earned the prestigious 2020 best-in-state credit union award from Forbes Magazine. Vermont Federal is the only credit union in the state to receive the award for three consecutive years.
Forbes identified America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions 2020 based on an independent survey of more than 25,000 US consumers who were asked to rate credit unions at which they have or previously have had checking accounts. Participants made recommendations regarding overall satisfaction; they also assessed credit unions in the following areas: ‘Trust,’ ‘Terms & Conditions,’ ‘Branch Services,’ ‘Digital Services,’ and ‘Financial Advice.’ The America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions 2020 title serves to reinforce Vermont Federal’s reputation as a credit union that provides excellent customer service.

This marks the second award for Vermont Federal in 2020, as they were also awarded a Best of Business (BOB) award in the Credit Union category for Addison, Franklin, and Grand Isle counties from Vermont Business Magazine. The results of the BOB Awards speak to the stand-out businesses in Vermont: the ones that offer the best customer service, that are willing to go above and beyond and to pay attention to detail.
