Vermont Federal Credit Union Donates over $20,000

South Burlington, VT Vermont Federal Credit union donated over $20,000 to variety of local charities and non-profit organizations in recognition of the “Giving Tuesday” movement.Feed Your Neighbor Pic-1

"At Vermont Federal Credit, giving back to our community is part of our DNA” said Jean Giard, CEO.  “We feel very fortunate that we can provide financial support to all of these great organizations and are delighted to do so on Giving Tuesday”.

The charities selected include: Spectrum Youth Services in St. Albans, Enosburg Food Shelf, HOPE Holiday Shop, Addison County Parent Child Center, Pride Centers VT, Jenna’s Promise, Franklin County Humane Society, Vermont Children’s Museum, Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports and Lamoille Community House.

In addition, Vermont Federal Credit Union also partnered with local radio stations 106.7 WIZN and 99.9 The BUZZ to host the 13th annual Feed Your Neighbor food drive to benefit Feeding Chittenden and the Joint Council for Economic Opportunity. This year the food drive collected over 7,000 lbs of food to help members of our community.

Vermont Federal Credit Union encourages its members and other community members to join them in their support of local charities through financial contributions or volunteerism.
