South Burlington - Vermont Federal Credit Union joins forces with HOPE (Helping Overcome Poverty’s Effects) to extend a helping hand to those in need.
Hope’s vital programs are dedicated to supporting low-income individuals in Addison County through a variety of crucial initiatives. These efforts include providing essential food supplies to those facing hunger and ensuring that families have access to nutritious meals. Additionally, Hope’s programs focus on the well-being of children from disadvantaged backgrounds, fostering a positive and uplifting environment.
"As the issue of food insecurity continues to grow in Vermont, we are honored to collaborate with exceptional organizations like HOPE, ensuring that every Vermonter has access to essential food supplies," said Jean Giard, President & CEO of Vermont Federal Credit Union.
“Rising prices have made it hard for low-income families to gain access to basic necessities,” said Heather Potter, Director of Development for HOPE. “We are dedicated to dismantling these barriers for individuals and families in our community, and we are thrilled to have Vermont Federal Credit Union join hands with us for our Food Program and Holiday Shop initiatives.”
