To provide you with the best financial tools available, we are making improvements to our credit cards. Here’s what that means for you:
You should have received a new credit card in mid-March. This card replaces your current Vermont FCU credit card beginning in 4521 or 4605.
Your current credit card is scheduled to be deactivated and no longer operable after May 2, 2023.
Please activate your new card as soon as possible by calling the phone number published on the sticker of the card: 1-800-631-3197.
Upon activation, you'll want to update any recurring or automatic payments tied to your current card (such as subscriptions, bills, and digital wallets) with your new card information.
All Cardholders:
We recently introduced a new online portal for your credit card where you can access transaction history, e-statements, rewards, and more. The new online portal features an improved user experience and new self-service capabilities.
Visa Platinum Reward Cardholders:
Visa Platinum Rewards cards have been upgraded to Visa Signature Rewards, at no additional cost to you. Your new card comes with many exciting perks and benefits. For detailed information, please refer to the Visa Guide to Benefits provided below.
Your reward points will transfer to your new Visa Signature Rewards account. Your point balance is updated on the 2nd day of each month. To redeem your points, please login to online banking or the mobile app, select your credit card, and navigate to rewards.

You may begin using your new credit card on as soon as you receive it. Instructions on how to activate your new card will be included on the plastic and card carrier.
Activate your new credit card by calling: 800-631-3197 and following the instructions as prompted.

To ensure uninterrupted access, please activate your new Visa® credit card as soon as possible by calling the phone number published on the sticker of the card: 1-800-631-3197.
Once you activate your new credit card, you may securely dispose of your old card.
Yes. Once your new card is activated, please update any automatic or recurring payments you have set up with your old card, (such as subscriptions, bills, and digital wallets) with the new card information.
The last four digits of the previous credit card number will be provided on the paper carrier included with your new Visa® credit card.

Visa® contactless payments refers to a secure, touch-free method for making payments with your credit card. Instead of swiping or inserting your card into a chip reader, simply bring your card within a few inches of a compatible checkout terminal and the payment is securely processed in seconds.
