To provide you with the best financial tools available, we are making improvements to our credit cards. Here’s what that means for you:
In March, you will receive a new credit card. This card will replace your current Vermont FCU credit card. There is no cost associated with this change.
Upon receipt, please activate your new credit card. You can then securely dispose of your old card and begin using your new one. You will be notified before your old card is deactivated.
Online Access: Access to the online portal for viewing your credit card activity will be temporarily paused from February 24 until February 28 as we upgrade to a new platform.
Payments: Payments can be made at any time; however, payments received between February 20 – 27 will be processed the week of February 27 and will be posted to reflect the date that the payment was originally received.
All Cardholders:
On February 28, we are introducing a new online portal for your credit card where you can access transaction history, e-statements, rewards, and more. The new online portal will feature an improved user experience and new self-service capabilities.
In mid-March, you’ll receive a new credit card with a new card number, expiration date, and security code. Please update this information with any merchants or vendors that have it saved (ex: online retailers, streaming services, digital wallets).
Visa Platinum Reward Cardholders:
Visa Platinum Rewards cards will be upgraded to Visa Signature Rewards, at no additional cost to you. Your new card comes with many exciting perks and benefits. For detailed information, please refer to the Visa Guide to Benefits provided below.
Your reward points will transfer to your new Visa Signature Rewards account. After February 2, your point balance will be updated on the 2nd day of each month. Redemptions will be paused from February 20 until February 28 as we transition to the new online portal. To redeem your points, please login to online banking or the mobile app, select your credit card, and navigate to rewards.

You may begin using your new credit card on as soon as you receive it. Instructions on how to activate your new card will be included on the plastic and card carrier.
Activate your new credit card by calling: 800-631-3197 and following the instructions as prompted.
Your existing credit card will remain active and continue to work for a period of time.
To ensure uninterrupted access, please activate your new Visa® credit card as soon as it's received. You will be notified before your old credit card is deactivated.
Once you receive and activate your new credit card, you may securely dispose of your old card.
Yes. Once your new card is activated, please update an recurring payments or automatic payments you have set up with your old card, such as subscriptions, bills, and digital wallets, with the new card information.
The last four digits of the previous credit card number will be provided on the paper carrier included with your new Visa® credit card.
