Apple Pay™

Vermont Federal Credit Union has signed up to offer Apple Pay for our debit or credit cards.

What is Apple Pay?

Apple Pay is a new, free and easy way to pay Participating Merchants without ever swiping your card. Traditionally when you pay merchants with your Vermont Federal debit or credit card you swipe your card to pay, leaving your card numbers and identity visible. With Apple Pay, you can make in-store purchases with a simple touch of your finger using Touch ID™. None of your personal or card information is stored on your device, making it a safe and easy way to pay.

Not in a store? Pay online with Participating Apps using your iPhone® 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, iPad Mini™ 3 or iPad Air™ 2.

How to Enroll:

  1.  Open Apple Wallet (for iOS 9 and up) or the Passbook® App on your eligible Apple device.
  2. Select "Set Up Apple Pay" then "Add a New Credit or Debit Card." If you're already using Apple Pay, swipe down and tap the "+" sign at the top right, then select "Add Another Card"
  3. Type in your card information or simply tap the camera icon and take a picture of your card. Enter the three digit security code found on the back of your card and fill in any remaining information.

You're now ready to use your debit or credit cards with Apple Pay! If you receive a prompt to contact Vermont Federal to verify your card for Apple pay, this is not unusual. Call our Call Center at (888) 252-0202, Option 3 during normal business hours.
